About me
Juan Rubiano, an M.F.A. visionary artist, masterfully intertwines the realms of media art to craft intricate narratives that reflect the complexities of the human psyche within our dynamic social landscape. His installations and digital creations explore the depths of our collective consciousness, inviting audiences to engage with their own vulnerabilities and ponder the essence of existence in our post-humanistic era.
Drawing from his personal experiences, Juan blurs the lines between the digital and the real, the inner and the outer self, the individual and the collective, and the natural and the artificial. This ambivalence highlights the fluid boundaries that define our modern world.
Juan’s work aims to foster awareness of the rational perspectives demanded by our anthropocentric times. His interactive installations connect audiences to objects and digital environments, allowing viewers to immerse themselves and extend their presence through information that is tracked, interpreted, and audiovisually represented in multifaceted ways.
